San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon has applied for the vacant Milwaukee Bucks job.
Hammon is the NBA's first female assistant coach, and now will be the first woman to go for a head-coaching position in the league.
The Bucks met with Hammon last year about the team's general manager vacancy, despite the fact that she had no front-office experience.
