Nations Church security staff and ushers were among the first to respond to the incident.
Pastor Peter Tate says it's important that those who witnessed what happened are well supported.
He says they have a pastoral care person in their church who can be contacted at anytime ... while if they're after professional counselling that can be easily arranged as well.
Police have established the death is not suspicious and say it will be referred to the Coroner.
