Starting October there will be five new return services every week, adding about 70 thousand seats to the route per year.
Chief revenue officer Cam Wallace says the additional services will provide even more options for travellers.
He says Dunedin is an important part of Air New Zealand's network and there has been strong demand for services to and from the city.
