Dominion Road businesses cautiously optimistic about plans for light rail lines in Auckland

Dominion Road businesses are cautiously optimistic about plans for two new light rail lines in Auckland

One will run from the central city to Mangere and the airport, the other will go west to Kumeu.

The airport route will run the length of Dominion Road.

Local business association chair Chris Hammonds says while the end result will be beneficial - there will be massive disruption during construction.

He hopes businesses will have a part to play in the project, and an ability to voice concerns.
