The All Blacks prop has been named in the Crusaders run-on side for Saturday's Super Rugby match against the Waratahs in Christchurch.
Moody was expected back last month from off-season shoulder surgery, but suffered a broken finger during his return club rugby fixture.
Coach Scott Robertson says it's great to welcome him back finally.
He says Moody got an hour of club rugby last week so he's in good condition.
Moody replaces Wyatt Crockett, who drops to the bench while Owen Franks is rested on the other side of the scrum and replaced by Michael Alaalatoa .
Ryan Crotty and David Havili have been rested, with Tim Bateman and George Bridge replacing them respectively with Manasa Mataele on the left wing.
