The Wellington Chamber of Commerce says proposed employment law changes could see inexperienced job seekers miss out

A select committee meeting is underway to discuss the Employment Relations Amendment Bill.
One amendment would scrap the 90 day trial for all employers expect for small businesses with fewer than 20 workers.
Chief executive John Milford says the trial period gives inexperienced job seekers a chance to prove themselves so narrowing it would be a mistake.
