The Tramways Union is not ruling out strike action if it can't reach an agreement with operators

Wellington bus drivers addressed the select committee at Parliament this morning asking for a law change to protect their terms and conditions.
They say when Greater Wellington Regional Council tendered its bus services, drivers' jobs, wages, and conditions weren't protected.
The Union's Secretary Kevin O'Sullivan says they're meeting the new operators to discuss conditions next month.
He says if they don't want to cooperate a strike's not off the cards.
