Yachting New Zealand will embrace the changes to the Olympic sailing programme from 2024

World Sailing has agreed to incorporate kiteboarding into its programme for the games in Paris, at the expense of one of the three dinghy events.
NZ Chief Executive David Abercrombie says it's still unclear what the programme will look like beyond 2020, so it's hard to prepare at this stage.
The changes have come after the International Olympic Committee signalled the sport would lose some of its quota if it did not make some changes.
