Reds boosted by return of Scott Higginbotham against Hurricanes

The Queensland Reds have been boosted by the return of Scott Higginbotham for tomorrow's Super Rugby match against the Hurricanes in Wellington

The Wallaby loose forward returns for the first time since suffering a calf injury in round eight and is one of three coaches to coach Brad Thorn's starting 15.

JP Smith has been named at starting loosehead prop with James Slipper was not considered for welfare reasons.

In the backs, Duncan Paia'aua has been promoted to the starting side.
