    The finalists for the NBA's end of season awards have been announced

    The finalists for the NBA's end of season awards have been announced


    LeBron James, James Harden and Anthony Davis are the three named for the player of the year, while Utah's Quin Snyder, Boston's Brad Stevens and now sacked Toronto mentor Dwayne Casey are up for coach of the year.

    After plenty of off-court chat, Donovan Mitchell and Ben Simmons will continue their battle for rookie of the year, while Jayson Tatum is also a finalist.

    Anthony Davis is also up for defensive player of the year alongside Jazz bigman Rudy Gobert and 76ers centre Joel Embiid .

    Eric Gordon, Lou WIlliams and Fred Van Fleet are in line for sixth man, while Victor Oladipo is the massive favourite for most improved.
