Almost 105-million-dollars of new operating funding over four years will provide a clothing allowance for those on the Orphan's Benefit or Unsupported Child's benefit.
The new funding means carers, like grandparents, are entitled to a clothing allowance of up to 1500-dollars a year.
The allowance is for the children they care for and will come into effect in July 2018.
Additionally, the Ministry for Children is getting almost 270-million dollars over the next four years to expand its services.
