The co-operative has pitched its opening farm-gate milk price for the 2018\19 season at seven dollars per kilo of milksolids.
That's one of its highest yet ... but shy of the record eight-dollars-40 in 2013\14.
Fonterra's also upped its 2017/18 forecast by 20 cents to six-dollars-75.
Chairman John Wilson says they're continuing to see strong demand for butter and milk fat, especially from China.
