Emergency services communication and innovation discussed at Christchurch conference starting today
Communication and innovation for emergency services will be discussed at a conference starting in Christchurch today
23 May 2018
It's only the second time the bi-annual emergency communications conference has been held in Christchurch.
More than 90 people from fire, ambulance, police, and telcos are attending.
Conference co-ordinator, Inspector Kieren Kortegast says it will be a busy few days .
He says it's about swapping notes so they're not working in isolation and can give the best service to the public.
The conference runs until Friday.
