Caitlyn Jenner used to flee to golf courses before her transition to practise "with boobies"

The 68-year-old reality star - who was known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing gender reassignment in 2015 - found sanctuary at the Sherwood Country Club in California, where she's been a member for 15 years, because she found a small way to connect with her true self when she couldn't do so in public

She said: "I would take my little bras up there in this very quiet golf course, and [see] what it was like playing with boobies."

The 'I Am Cait' star has been criticised for her Republican views, but she insists her stance is actually good for the trans community because she is able to "work from the inside".

She told Broadly: "I think it's good that I'm on the Republican side because the Republicans know that, and I have an immediate in with them to change their minds.

"The Republicans need the most work when it comes to our issues, I get that. I would rather work from the inside. I'm not the type of person who is going to stand on a street corner with a sign and jump up and down. No, I'm going to go have dinner with these people."

However, she admitted she couldn't support controversial US President Donald Trump for re-election in the future.

She said: "[Trump] has been, for all LGBT issues, the worst president we have ever had.

"I want him to know politically I am disappointed, obviously. I don't want our community to go backwards.

"Just leave us alone, that's all we want. Then maybe later down the line, we can get somebody a little better."

And Caitlyn is open to the possibility of voting for a Democrat candidate.

She said: "I don't know who in the Democratic Party. I would look at it. I don't vote parties. I vote the person."
