    The Warriors have secured the signature of a former player

    The New Zealand Herald reports Saint George Illawarra forward Leeson Ah Mau has signed a three year deal to join the Mount Smart club from next season.

    Ah Mau played two games for the Warriors in 2009.

    While the contract is yet to be officially signed, Ah Mau has told he's teammates he's leaving.

    The Warriors have beat out offers from several rival clubs including the Dragons, Knights, Titans, and Panthers, with the deal understood to be worth around 500 thousand dollars a year.
