Shoppers at west Auckland retail complex complain cars being clamped after 30 minutes in 120 minute parks
Shoppers at a west Auckland retail complex complain their cars are being clamped after being parked for just 30 minutes in spaces signposted for 120 minutes
28 May 2018
They were clamped by an Elite Parking Services warden at a parking complex in Sel Peacock Drive in Henderson.
Shopper Tayla Dawson she saw an elderly woman in tears who had to pay 200 dollars to get her car unclamped.
Her son was with her and insisted she had only been there 30 minutes.
Dawson says they seem to be targeting older women and people they can intimidate.
Other regular shoppers have similar complaints.
Just last month it was reported a woman was clamped and fined $200, also at 20 Sel Peacock Drive, despite only parking there for five minutes.
