Anthony Peden's made the shock decision to stand down from the role, after guiding the men's team sprint trio to unprecedented success over the last five years.
Cycling NZ CEO Andrew Matheson is expecting a lot of interest in the position.
Andrew Matheson has refused to say whether Justin Grace is on his hit list.
Grace was Peden's predecessor and now leads the successful Great Britain programme.
