Nathan Cayless will serve as one of Michael Maguire's right hand men, while Ben Gardiner returns from last year's Rugby League World Cup disaster.
While Gardiner doesn't have such fond memories as part of the Kiwis at a World Cup, Cayless remains the only New Zealand skipper to lift the trophy back in 2008.
Cayless has been both a head coach and assistant coach at various levels in Australia.
Donny Singe has re-signed as the High Performance Manager alongside Sean Edwards who joins as Athlete Performance Coach.
