The Maroons have had a disrupted build up to game one with Dane Gagai only cleared to play today after suffering a finger injury at training yesterday.
It follows Billy Slater being ruled out with a hamstring injury, with Michael Morgan to start at fullback.
Coach Kevin Walters says he's got a lot of faith in his players.
He says Morgan has been their Mr Fix-it for several years, he's a really mature player who can handle the expectations that come with playing fullback for the Maroons at the moment.
Kick off's around 10pm.
