Football South is investigating allegations a children's football coach made a player rub his nose in dirt and then "gloated" about it during a Dunedin game

A parent from the opposing team, Mark Joyce, posted about the incident in the 13th grade match on Saturday.
The players were aged between 11 and 13, he said.
He confronted the coach about it after the game, which led to a heated exchange.
Football South is warning the incident shouldn't become a "witch hunt" until more is known.
Chief executive Chris Wright says he's been alerted to the incident and has received information from both defenders of the coach, and those upset by his behaviour.
