Nearly half of Auckland's councillors have penned a letter of no confidence in Mayor Phil Goff

Nearly half of Auckland's councillors have penned a letter of no confidence in Mayor Phil Goff

Our newsroom understands the letter relates to the mayor's refusal to give councillors full access to a million dollar report on a proposed downtown stadium.

Goff says he has not received a letter from councillors.

He played down any possible vote of no confidence, saying he had just received unanimous support in glowing terms for his 10-year budget.
