    Hayden Paddon's maintaining a defiant approach for the rest of the World Rally Championship season


    The kiwi Hyundai driver is under pressure to perform after being given just seven drives this year.

    Paddon has competed in three events so far and finished fourth in the latest rally in Italy.

    He says he knows what the circumstances are and backs himself.

    Paddon says they have four more opportunities to show that and they definitely deserve one of the top 12 drives in the world.

    Hayden Paddon will return home to race in next weekend's rally event in Timaru.
