    New Zealand Rugby League have released a list of 20 marquee players who have been officially put forward for the new NRL Women's competition


    19 players who featured in the Kiwi Ferns' recent World Cup campaign are included, with Auckland's Kailey Faye Thompson rounding off the list.

    New Zealand marquee players will receive comparative extra benefits to Australian players, which will be finalised once the NZRL Collective Bargaining Agreements have been negotiated.

    Meanwhile, Kiwi Ferns marquee duo Honey Hireme and Raecene McGregor have been signed by the St George Illawarra Dragons for the competition, and join Brisbane Broncos bound Teuila Fotu-Moala as the New Zealand players currently snapped up.
