Football Federation Australia has delayed announcing its A-League expansion shortlist until at least next week

Football Federation Australia has delayed announcing its A-League expansion shortlist until at least next week

The governing body was due to release a shortlist this week, comprising the strongest half a dozen or so bids from the 15 formal expressions of interest submitted last month.

The delay has been pushed back while consulting company Deloitte seek further information from bids.

The A-League will expand by two sides from 10 to 12 in the 2019-2020 season.
