Sri Lankan cricket captain Dinesh Chandimal will face a hearing over claims of ball tampering
18 June 2018
Chandimal's been accused of altering the condition of the ball on day two of the second test against the West Indies in Saint Lucia, after television footage showed him of rubbing something on the ball.
The ball was changed and the Windies were awarded five penalty runs.
Sri Lanka then protested by taking to the field two hours late on day three.
The breach is the same one which was levelled at Australian batsman Cameron Bancroft, who was caught on camera rubbing a piece of sandpaper on the ball against South Africa in March.
