Kalyn  Ponga is poised to make his debut in a Queensland side aiming to level the State of Origin equation on Sunday

Coach Kevin Walters has named an 18-man squad after a weekend that featured injury concerns to a host of key players.

While both have been named in the squad, Billy Slater, who missed the first game with a hamstring issue and Dylan Napa, who's battling an ankle issue, will be given until Wednesday to prove their fitness.

Broncos playmaker Anthony Milford, a late game one inclusion following Slater's withdrawal, has missed selection.
