Delays for those travelling between Wellington and Wairarapa

A number of minor slips means stop-go crews are managing traffic. .

NZTA spokesman Mark Owen says the slips aren't big, but they're in challenging locations on a challenging stretch of road.

He says people should allow extra travel time until the road is fully reopened.

Owen expects that to happen early this afternoon.
