Auckland councillors are meeting with Speedway promoters this morning to look at the issues around its proposed move from Western Springs to Colin Dale Park in 2019.
Councillors are concerned about the amount of traffic near Auckland Airport on race nights.
There are still negotiations about the amount of money needed to make the relocation worthwhile - and who will pay.
Speedway Promotions' Bill Buckley says Colin Dale Park is the only option - and any issues will just have to be worked out.
