Triple murderer Hayden Poulter has been released from prison after 21 years behind bars
19 June 2018
The 56-year-old - who is described as New Zealand's first serial killer - was found guilty of three murders, a week apart, in 1996.
It's not known where he's been released, but he would not be out of jail if the Parole Board was not satisfied he's no longer a risk to the community.
He has 26 conditions on his release - including being monitored by GPS tracking, remaining sober for life, and not entering Auckland, which is where the murders happened.
