    Boxing Day cricket looks headed to return to New Zealand shores this summer


    The New Zealand Herald reports the Black Caps will play Sri Lanka at Hagley Oval in Christchurch, with the official schedule yet to be released.

    New Zealand last played a Boxing Day test, also against Sri Lanka at Hagley Oval, in 2014.

    It's also understood the Black Caps will play a day-night test against Bangladesh at Seddon Park in Hamilton, in what will be just the second ever in this country.
