It's been revealed the man who fatally shot two people in Northland last year bought 10 weapons off Trade Me using someone else's name and firearms licence

Quinn Patterson used a friend's details to buy the guns between September 2016 and July 2017 - before killing two property managers who arrived at his home in July last year.
Trade Me Head of Trust and Safety Jon Duffy believes the company's process is sound.
He says to obtain a firearm, the licence holder needs to present themselves to a police station, or show the licence to the gun seller.
