Wellington's regional council is being urged to follow through on its commitment to electric buses
21 June 2018
The council aspires to be the first in the country to have a fully electric fleet.
But at a meeting this week it was revealed only five electric buses will be introduced when Metlink launches major public transport changes on July 15th.
Councillor Daran Ponter says it's time to introduce some targets to ensure more electric buses come on board.
A project plan's expected back by the end of the year.
