    The Tall Blacks have kept majority of their experienced heads around for their basketball world cup qualifiers against Hong Kong and China


    Captain Mika Vukona, Tom Abercrombie, Jarrod Kenny, Isaac Fotu, Rob Loe and Reuben Te Rangi are among the seasoned core included in the 14-strong squad.

    Tall Blacks coach Paul Henare says it's important to have that experience.

    Henare says they've got guys who have played in big games, mixed with guys who are slightly raw.

    The first match of their qualifying window is against Hong Kong on Thursday.
