    Colombia has thrashed Poland 3-nil to keep alive its hopes of progressing out of Group play at the football World Cup in Russia


    Second half strikes from Radamel Falcao and Juan Guadrado have powered the South Americans to their first win of the tournament after they led 1-nil at the break.

    They sit third in Group H behind Japan and Senegal who drew two all this morning.

    Poland are eliminated.

    Earlier England crushed Panama 6-1 to join Belgium in advancing to the round of 16 from Group G.
