The Labour Inspectorate thinks there's a rash of small businesses stuffing up workers' holiday pay

Auckland building companies Juno Homes and EXP Builders have been fined for paying their workers like casuals.... when the employees were effectively working full time and should have been entitled to paid leave.
Labour Inspectorate southern regional manager Jeanie Borsboom says the companies are small, but representative of a wider problem.
She says there are many companies with poor knowledge of employment standards, and don't have systems to make sure they comply with the law.
