Residents are upset zoning changes at a Christchurch school mean students living nearby miss out

Cashmere High has changed it's zone to drop it's roll by over 300 students.
The new zoning comes into effect next year.
Somerfield Residents Association Chairwoman, Julie Tobbell, says the changes are illogical...with some students living in Barrington street, which the school is on, unable to attend.
She says it's not the only anomaly, with students who could easily walk or bike to school excluded, but those who live further away in Cass Bay or Opawa more likely to be able to attend.
