The 'Canes have lost 24-12 to the Brumbies in Canberra to now be just four points clear of the third-placed Chiefs in the New Zealand conference with two rounds to play.
Coach Chris Boyd says it's too early to say what needs to change.
The Chiefs earlier downed the Highlanders 45-22 in Suva after leading 42-nil at halftime.
The Jaguares are now just two points behind the Highlanders and just three behind the Lions after beating the Stormers 25-14 in Suva.
