Emergency services were called just before 12.30 to reports of a small plane making an unscheduled landing in a paddock.
Phil Goff's taken to social media to describe the event.
He was working outside watching the vintage biplane fly overhead when it's engine cut out.
He says the pilot tried four or five times to restart it but without success.
He then watched as the plane landed in a nearby field, and as the pilot and passengers walked away unscathed.
