    Brisbane Broncos veteran Sam Thaiday has announced he'll retire at the end of the NRL season

    The 33 year old forward will hang up his boots after 16 seasons with the Broncos, that's seen him play nearly 300 NRL games, 29 State of Origin matches and 32 test matches for Australia.

    Thaiday won a premiership with Brisbane in 2006, and 11 State of Origins.
