The two-time Olympic champion has stormed past Norway's Kjetil Borch in the final 100m to win the single sculls at the Henley Royal Regatta in Oxfordshire.
Drysdale appeared out of the race until he found a late surge, enough to claim a sixth title at the event.
It's a major boost for Drysdale, ahead of this weekend's World Cup event in Lucerne where the best performer of he and Robbie Manson will take the single sculls berth for the world championship in September.
