Another major setback for the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic

Another major setback for the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic

Captain Casey Kopua has been ruled out of the remainder of the ANZ netball Premiership with a foot injury.

The Magic are already without current Silver Ferns defender Kelly Jury and young mid-courter Sydney Fraser because of season-ending injuries.

Coach Margaret Forsyth says it's a blow for the team as Kopua is such an integral member of the team both on the off the court.

Forsyth says Casey Kopua will remain with the team as she brings a wealth of knowledge, encouragement and support from the side-line.

The Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic are sitting two points outside a playoff berth with four games remaining in the season.
