Jason Aldean is set to become a father again

The 41-year-old country singer has announced that him and his wife Brittany Kerr are expecting their second child together - seven months after they welcomed their son Memphis Aldine Williams into the world in December 2017

Taking to his Instagram account on Tuesday (10.07.18), Jason uploaded a photograph of his son in a "big brother" onesie and wrote: "Sup everybody....... guess who is gonna be a BIG brother! #thisdude #aldeanpartyof6 (sic)"

Brittany - who married Jason three years ago - shared the same image on her social networking site and teamed it with the caption: "Here we go again!"

Although they seemed happy to share their baby news with their fans, neither of them gave any indication as to how far into their pregnancy they are or whether they know the sex.

At the time of Memphis' birth, Jason - who also has daughters Keeley and Kendyl with ex-wife Jessica Ussery - admitted he felt so "blessed" after a "rollercoaster ride of a year."

He wrote on Instagram: "So blessed today to see my little man come into the world. In a year that has been a rollercoaster ride, this is what its all about. I cant wait to see what life has in store for this kid. Memphis Aldean... 9lb 5 oz. #mamawasarockstar (sic)"

Whilst his wife Brittany added on her own account that the day she met her baby boy was the "happiest" of her life so far.

She said: "Memphis Aldean Williams, Born today at 1:29PM weighing 9lbs 5oz. There are truly no words for the love we feel. Thanks for the amazing support @jasonaldean and enduring all the hand squeezing and nail digging ... HANDS DOWN THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!! (sic)"
