Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's daughter wants to be a WWE wrestler

The 'Baywatch' star - who started his career in the spotlight as a professional wrestler before switching his hand to acting and producing in 2002 - was over the moon when his 16-year-old daughter Simone, whom he has with his ex-wife Dany Garcia, told him that she wanted to follow in his footsteps and make a name for herself in the ring

Speaking on 'Good Morning America' on Tuesday (10.07.18), the 48-year-old actor said: "Simone is working so hard, and her work has already started. She wants to be a WWE wrestler. I love that idea and I think ... We had this big conversation. She came with me to Hong Kong and Beijing and I said, 'Honey, whatever your passion is, I support that.' Wrestling was good to me. I started my career in Madison Square Garden, so bring it on. She's going to be a champ."

Dwayne also has two daughters Jasmine, two, and Tiana, three months, with his partner Lauren Hashian and has advised all fathers to be at the "business end" when their babies are born because it's "life changing" - although he wasn't "ready" with Simone.

He explained: "I would recommend that. Now, I would I had my first baby at 29. I wasn't ready to go to the business end but I am ready now. It's life changing. I would highly recommend it. I was holding arms, hands, encouraging. I was doing the whole thing."

Dwayne announced the birth of Tiana on his Instagram account and admitted that he feels "blessed and proud" to bring another strong woman into the world.

He said: "Blessed and proud to bring another strong girl into this world.

"Tiana Gia Johnson came into this world like a force of nature and Mama @laurenhashianofficial labored and delivered like a true rockstar.

"I was raised and surrounded by strong, loving women all my life, but after participating in baby Tia's delivery, it's hard to express the new level of love, respect and admiration I have for @laurenhashianofficial and all mamas and women out there. (sic)"
