Police want the public's help after two women were indecently assaulted in Upper Hutt

Police want the public's help after two women were indecently assaulted in Upper Hutt

A European man in his 40's approached a 21 year old woman around 2.30 yesterday afternoon on Pine Avenue.

He assaulted her then ran towards Savage Street.

The man was wearing a dark grey knitted hoodie, dark pants, white shoes and has grey facial hair.

Detective Sergeant Rebecca Cotton says two other women were walking along Pine Avenue ahead of the victim.

One was also assaulted shortly before the man approached his second victim.

Police want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.
