Germany's Angelique Kerber has beaten the American in straight sets in the women's singles final at Wimbledon, to deny Williams a record-equalling 24th grand slam singles crown, just 14 matches into her return from maternity leave.
Williams says it's disappointing but she can't be disappointed as she feels she's still got a long way to go before she's back to her best.
She says she took a giant step forward at Wimbledon but her journey's just begun.
Novak Djokovic will face Kevin Anderson in the men's singles final tonight.
