Waikato police believe gangs are involved in three killings in the region in the past three weeks

Huntly man Wayne Noda was found dead in his home in early July.
Nine days ago Robert Nelson was gunned down trying to shield his partner Kahlee Marfell, from the shots..
And on Friday the body of Mitchell Paterson was found in water under the McLaren Falls Bridge.
Superintendent Bruce Bird not only says three killings are all connected, he also believes the attacks were targeted, and the wider community is safe.
Bird says more than 60 staff are working "tirelessly" on the three investigations.
They're being supported by specialist staff from outside of the district.
