Ed Sheeran forced to stop latest sell-out concert twice to use the toilet

The chart-topping pop star interrupted his performance in Cardiff, Wales, on Saturday night (23.06.18) because he "needed a pee" after performing his single 'Galway Girl'.

Ed - who has never previously been forced to interrupt any of his shows - did the same thing three songs later, apologising to the crowd for the unplanned delay.

On his return to the stage, Ed - who was playing at the Principality Stadium - explained: "I've been gigging since I was 14 and I've never done that. And now I do it in front of 60,000 people."

Ed, 27, was seen drinking lots of water during the early stages of his gig, which is the latest stop on his ongoing world tour.

Meanwhile, despite being one of the world's best-selling musicians, Ed recently revealed he doesn't use streaming services.

The British star explained that instead of using services like Spotify, he prefers to rely on recommendations from his pals.

He said: "I go on what people give me, like CDs, or if they recommend something on iTunes. Or I listen to the radio.

"It usually takes three people to get me to listen to something."

In fact, Ed admitted he only started listening to Mumford & Sons after being recommended the band by a third different person, having previously shunned their tunes.

The 'Shape of You' hitmaker - who is engaged to his childhood sweetheart Cherry Seaborn - confessed: "I remember someone told me to listen to Mumford & Sons, and I didn't.

"Then another person did, and I didn't, and then the third person I was like, 'I should.'"
