From the wet Auckland winter to the tinder-dry Carnoustie links for Michael Hendry

The New Zealand golfer tees it up at his second career major from tomorrow night at the British Open.

Hendry has had a disrupted build-up, having played just one tournament in the last couple of months after he and his wife welcomed their second child back home in Auckland.

Usually based on the Japan tour, Hendry played last week but otherwise his most recent tournament was early June.
