A large fire has broken out at a scrap metal centre in Lower Hutt

Emergency services are working to extinguish the blaze at Macaulay Metals on Seaview Road.
A Fire and Emergency spokesperson says a cutting machine used for old fridges caught fire - causing nearby foam insulation to also catch on fire.
Nine fire appliances and support crew are working to extinguish the blaze.
Police say nobody has been reported injured.
Nearby businesses are being evacuated as a precaution and the road has been closed at Parkside Road.
Traffic delays are expected and police are asking motorists to avoid Seaview Road while they deal with the situation.
