The toll of rugby and returning from double surgery has forced Warburton to call time on his career at just 29.
Warburton led two British and Irish Lions tours as skipper and captain Wales in 49 tests including two World Cups.

Warburton's last game of rugby was the drawn third British and Irish Lions test against the All Blacks at Eden Park last year.
